Tangerine

Some years ago my good friend Yair had decided to build his second traditional wooden boat. I was very excited about his project and was very quick to jump in and offer a helping hand. We spent long hours at night in his workshop doing our best to put this boat together. This also happened to be around the time that I was experimenting with sewing and noticed the potential I had for creating something bigger, like my own brand. As time went by Yair started narrowing down his options for names for his boat, one of them being "Tangerine". In the end the boat was named "Django" after the artist he had spent hours listening to while building the boat. However, I grew fond of the name "Tangerine" for my brand, with the added bonus that it had a bit of nostalgia behind it considering it was a reminder of the process and time  that we spent working on Django. It was a reminder of creating something. I asked Yair how he would feel about me using the name and he was stoked! So there you have it. That's where the name "Tangerine" comes from.
